Chipanje Chetu is a unique wilderness for the more adventurous traveler to explore. Lipilichi maintains a permanent lodge and two comfortable tented camps in the midst of a vast and diverse landscape.
Lipilichi hosts limited, ethical hunting activities in the area, primarily to create employment and generate income, and harvest meat for the local communities.
Conservation is the backbone of Lipilichi’s operations with anti-poaching and forest-monitoring activities comprising the majority of our activities. Lipilichi collaborates with the local community and conservation partners across Niassa to achieve conservation objectives.
Lipilichi partners with the local communities in all activities and engages in a variety of community development activities that support the five villages residing within Chipanje Chetu.
Natural resource management, biodiversity monitoring and wildlife protection is central to our activities.
Tourism and hunting activities help to fund our conservation projects and support the primary custodians of the wilderness that is Chipanje Chetu.
